Waiting

We walked into Muros and came upon the place that we were planing on staying. It is the only place to stay in the city. It also happens to be an apartment complex. We knocked on the door, no answer. We rang the bell, no answer. We were not about to walk 20km more to the next city so we parked it outside the apartments and prayed the person would return. There was a note on the door saying call if you need anything, but as we have no cell phone here, that wasn't going to happen. After about an hour I started getting restless(ironically cause I actually napped that whole hour). I walked down to the bar leaving Gill with all the bags. I asked the man at the bar and he was like, " I have no idea". Then a pilgrim from Spain who happened to be sitting there asked him where I could find the person. The bartender looked over to the apartments and said, oh look he's right there. Sure enough there, standing on the 2nd floor balcony right above Gill stood a man. He had been inside the house the whole time. The bartender yelled over to him and he came down and let us in. That night we stayed in an apartment with a kitchen and everything. It is the most privacy we have had the whole trip. We cooked grilled cheese, spinach, peas, Oreos and diet coke. Delicious.
